Your data

Yours to share. Yours to take back.

We collect only what is truly needed for the app to work. You decide what others see — and you can leave at any time.

Overview

01 — Your profile

What others can see about you.

Your username and your profile picture are visible to other members. A short description about yourself is optional — you can add one, or leave it out entirely.

Nothing beyond that is shown to other members unless you choose to share it.

Visible on your profile

  • Age
  • Gender
  • Orientation
  • Role
  • Learner status (the “L” on your avatar)
  • Financial interest (the “$” marker)

Others mainly use these details as filters to find members who fit. You fill them in yourself and can change them at any time.

02 — Filters & visibility

What helps others find you.

To make finding compatible partners and play styles easier, a few pieces of information are also used as filters in the community: gender, age, orientation, role, and country of origin.

These fields are visible to members and shown in your profile. You can adjust them at any time.

02 — Filters & visibility

  • Gender
  • Age
  • Orientation
  • Role
  • Country of origin

03 — Privacy settings

What you can restrict.

Some information is only shown when you allow it. You can switch the following on or off at any time in your privacy and visibility settings:

  • Online status
  • Location sharing for your Keyholder
  • Typing indicator

Changes take effect immediately.

04 — Location

Location is always opt-in.

Geo — special case

Your location is only stored — as a pair of coordinates — after you have given explicit consent within the app. It is used in play only when you actively allow it. Your Keyholder and their deputy can see your last known location, but only if you have turned on location visibility. No one else can access this data.

We do not track your movements in the background. The stored location is only updated when you actively share it.

05 — Login data

How your account is tied to your login.

Depending on the sign-in method you choose — mobile number, Google, or Apple — we store the link between your account and that login method. This is the minimum required to let you sign in.

We do not store passwords or contact details beyond what your chosen provider sends during sign-in.

06 — Deleting your account

Leave whenever you want.

You can delete your account at any time from within the app. All data directly linked to you is removed immediately.

Chat messages remain visible to your former chat partners for up to 31 days, but without your avatar and without the ability to continue the conversation.

All paired devices are unbound and deregistered, so you can use them freely with any other app — for example the QIUI app — straight away.

What gets deleted

  • Profile, avatar, description
  • All settings and preferences
  • Device pairings — all devices deregistered
  • Chats — messages gone from your side immediately

Where your data lives

All data is stored on servers in the European Union. We never sell personal information to third parties.

Contact form

Use the contact form and we receive your email, optional name, subject, and message — only to answer you. Tick the copy box to also get a copy yourself. We store your request to handle it, never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

How we count visits

We count page visits in a privacy-friendly way — no cookies, no tracking across sites. Your IP address only becomes an anonymous hash that is deleted after 14 months.
